Rules For Posting To This Blog and Weekly Blog Question

1. Only use your first name (no last names, addresses, IM screen names, etc.)
2. Show respect and consideration of others when posting and commenting. This includes individuals, students, organizations, political parties, colleagues, etc.
3. Check all posts for spelling and grammar errors before posting.
4. Protect the privacy of others. Gain permission from other people before you write about them. Avoid sharing someone else's last name. Use job titles or pseudonyms when writing about experiences with your co-workers or students.
5. Watch your language. Use politically correct and non-offensive language.
6. Make sure you write about things that are factual.
7. Keep your postings education-oriented. Avoid discussing plans for the weekend, etc.

Right Now......

I will have to say at this present time in my life that I am probably going through the motions. I'm trying to plan a wedding, buy a house, teacher at a school with very little parent support, decide if I want children or not, and being a student in the NTI program. There are so many days my phone dies from how busy it is or I am always on it. I guess I can say that right now there are days when I just stay at the gym for hours because its a big stress reliever , and I can really focus on one thing and its not so many thoughts going on my mind. I guess timing is just bad because you don't' know when you are going to fall inn love , and want to be able to plan you future with someone. Don't get me wrong I am very thankful, but just going through motions RIGHT NOW.......

Unknown said...: Hang in there Joi, you're not the only one going through the motions right now! I have a lot going on in my personal life right now, but during the school day I put it all aside and tirelessly try to do my best. You can never plan the unexpected but that doesn't mean you have to let the unexpected defeat you. I can also relate on the lack of parental support. It seems like you can only get in contact with a parent once their child is failing a class or close to it. These are definitely trying times as we move into the Holiday season, but keep your head up and keep moving forward. I understand transitioning to a new school so late in the year was unexpected and stressful and being forced to pass the gace in a month and a half didn't help but I just pray through it and get it done. Not to mention this three year old that def keeps me on my toes but at the end of the day I am thankful for it all and wouldn't have it any other way.
