What I am proud of!

First of all I know that eveyone probably feels the same way as I do. I really feel like a real teacher this year. There have been new teachers come to my school this year, and it feels really great when they come to me for answers about certain things. It is a great feeling when I can help them. I am probably the proudest that I am more thorough and organized with the material I teach. I want my students to learn more from the books and not just lab work. I really enjoy doing labs but I know that the material should be covered better prior to lab work. NTI helped me learn how to be more organized and those task analysis projects helped me be more thorough!

Keep up the good work Jessie. Your sounding like a veteran teacher and I'm sure you organiztion and confidence is carrying over to your students. My comment is similar to yours in that someone came to me for assistance and I must admitt I was glad to be helpful.

Jesse(AKA Biscuit), I can relate to what you are saying and I do concure. I want you to know that I am proud of you for the job you are doing. I have seen firsthand the transformation of your shop into a learning environment. From the professional safety signs to the posters displayed outside your shop doors both made by your students. Your shop is the bomb. Your organization and flow throughout your lab is conducive to the learning environment in which I am striving for in my lab. Thanks for all the help this summer and your friendship. NTI is a great place for new teachers to start. You should feel like a real teacher because you are.
