Anyway the wind blows

This week has been a pretty good one. The weather has been on my side and this has given my class an opportunity to get out and get some fresh air.Let me be the first to say that a change of scenery really does a class some good. We have entered into the unit on defensive tactics and arresting procedures, students are wearing their uniforms and things seem to be progressing accordingly. What more can I say? Well I am not going to say much. I am going to continue to go with the flow and take advantage of this opportunity and try to capitalize on it.

Anitra,
It sounds like things are going better for you...I'm so happy. It's amazing how something a simple as sunshine can change your whole attitude. It also sounds like you have the right attitude with trying to go with the flow of things. I'm sure your students can see how hard you are working as well as how much you care for them. Keep on doing what you think is best for the children and everything else will fall into place.

Anitra. I am so elated that things are beginning to look up. As time goes on, things do truly get better. As I shared with you, when things get tough, I believe that we are going through a process, God's process. It may be a time for character development, maturity in some areas, a renewal of our minds or ways of thinking. Sometimes we just have to sit at the front of the classroom take notes so that we can pass the test. If not, we fail the test and have to take it over again until we pass it and are ready to go to the next level. Is that always easy? No it is not. It is one of the most challenging things to do. We as humans want "our way" or want things to go the way that we think that they should, rather than the Lord's will for us and for our lives. We as humans always want to buck against process. We want to get off of the potters wheel rather than go through the process of being shapened and molded for beauty and/or for God's use. Stay encouraged and keep looking up.
