As a student...

The most important thing I have learned as a student while in NTI is that you are never too old to learn new things.  Some things don't change...keeping track of assignments, being on time, learning new information, communicating, not procrastinating, using technology, etc.  As a student I have learned new techniques to use in my classroom and methods to have an effective learning environment.  I have learned the value in relationship building and how important it is to communicate and plan ahead of time.  Learning truly is a life long process...a daily occurrence.

I agree with you on the fact that you are never too old to learn. some things don't change, but the process in which it comes to you does change. Procrastination is my biggest downfall. I procrastinate on everything. The only thing worst is technology. I have so much trouble with computers. But since NTI, I have become technically savvy. I'm not afraid of computers anymore.Relationships with other teachers and students are very important. I am very fortunate, I have both.

Wow, I agree with you, too. I had not thought of what it takes to be successful in learning, which in turn, helps us be better teachers: attendance, turning in assignments on time, not procrastinating, etc.. Procrastination is my biggest challenge, as well. Why do we want to procrastinate? It feels so good when you're not procrastinating! I, too, have learned that technology can be a huge help in the classroom. I love integrating technology into the classroom.
