Things Learned

My students have taught me a lot, even though at times they seem to be some of the hard headed ones in the world they are all still very good students on the inside. The students have taught me to always have a humor side because they don't like for you to be serious all the time the like for you to be a little lose and that are more receptive to me at times. My students have shown me that they really have learned me as a teacher and a person because they now when something my be bothering me even though I won't tell them they try to get me to laugh. Experience I feel is the best teacher and through the students I have this year they have taught me lessons that I will never forget even on those days when they are not doing things the way I wish they would, but overall they have taught me to take each students as they are and they all have great qualities that I sometimes have to bring out of them.

Hi, Mike - I agree that a good sense of humor makes a teachers' life much more enjoyable and effective, although be careful of sarcasm seeping in. And bringing out the best qualities in your students is one of the marks of a master teacher - keep it up!
