Rules For Posting To This Blog and Weekly Blog Question

1. Only use your first name (no last names, addresses, IM screen names, etc.)
2. Show respect and consideration of others when posting and commenting. This includes individuals, students, organizations, political parties, colleagues, etc.
3. Check all posts for spelling and grammar errors before posting.
4. Protect the privacy of others. Gain permission from other people before you write about them. Avoid sharing someone else's last name. Use job titles or pseudonyms when writing about experiences with your co-workers or students.
5. Watch your language. Use politically correct and non-offensive language.
6. Make sure you write about things that are factual.
7. Keep your postings education-oriented. Avoid discussing plans for the weekend, etc.

Midterms!

This has been an extremely fast semester for me! I have enjoyed teaching so much more since NTI and I am so grateful to have all of this new knowledge. I'm ready for NTI to be over so that I can have more free time, but I will miss the content and more importantly, the people.

Today has been very productive. I've paid my overly obese GSU spring bill, paid and registered for TIEGA and requested my day off, and have taught 2 of my 4 classes. Tonight I will celebrate by going to Jingle Jam. I hope you all have a great week and a wonderful holiday!

Hope you have a great Christmas. 2 large is a bit of a burden to bear, but you have to stay positive. OK - I'm positive - 2 large is a burden. Remember, when we are all swimming in the Bahamas with a cool drink in our hands, it will all be worth it. With all of the ridiculously fat salaries all of us teachers make, we could probably buy our own island. Ok- if I can just make my next house payment, I will be happy. Sorry to sound so cynical-had a tough day and decided to "take it out on the blog".
