Rules For Posting To This Blog and Weekly Blog Question

1. Only use your first name (no last names, addresses, IM screen names, etc.)
2. Show respect and consideration of others when posting and commenting. This includes individuals, students, organizations, political parties, colleagues, etc.
3. Check all posts for spelling and grammar errors before posting.
4. Protect the privacy of others. Gain permission from other people before you write about them. Avoid sharing someone else's last name. Use job titles or pseudonyms when writing about experiences with your co-workers or students.
5. Watch your language. Use politically correct and non-offensive language.
6. Make sure you write about things that are factual.
7. Keep your postings education-oriented. Avoid discussing plans for the weekend, etc.

Eval

Had my eval today. Just plan on the unexpected to happen. I had more outside class interruptions in one 90 minute class than I normally have in a semester. Mrs Greene was very understanding and had some good ideas for my class. For those of you that have not have eval's done yet don't sweat them. Just do your job and you will be fine.

Esther said...: It is a great feeling to know that one evaluation is out of the way. I found out that I will have several evaluations from the school as a new teacher. We (new teachers at our school) were given a book per Georgia standards to read and follow. I hope the evaluation is like the one from GSU.! Perry said...: those evals are nothing esther...an administrator pops in for about 15 minutes and watches...and for the most part as soon as they come in the kids all behave perfectly..mine did anyway; September 15, 2007 at 8:56:00 AM EDT
