CRUISE last week
I don't know if any of you have been watching the news, but I was on the cruise ship [Holiday] that everyone got so sick on last week.Although I didn't get sick my brother-in- law ,nephew, mother-in-law and father-in-law did.The news was saying roughly 140 or so got sick. But it seemed a whole lot more than that were sick. Because many of the sick just stayed in there rooms because they felt to bad to move. Many of the staff were sick as well. When we were leaving mexico the ship had started pulling out of the dock area when we felt the ship moving backwards. We docked again and an ambulance came down the dock about 30 minutes later to remove one of the passengers who was to sick to continue. We knew something was contagious when we saw all the disinfecting the crew was doing. The whole ship had a slight clorox smell and whole sections were closed at times to be cleaned.

Gosh, Steve. I hate to hear that you had such a terrible experience on your cruise. What should have been a wonderful time turned out to be very sick time.
Yes, germs spread very quickly on ships. Lots of people in a contained area. Lots of opportunity for germs to fester and grow.
I hope everyone is feeling better now.
the good news is baseball is just around the corner
So, what's the lesson here? Never go on a cruise? Good thing they didn't ask Jethro to do brain surgery. I've been sick in Mexico before and I'll tell you the story in class if you want. Now my idea of a vacation is driving to Jekyll Island or Panama City! I'm glad you are back and okay. People asked about you in class Monday night. You were missed. Dr. J.
Very scary! You hear about these things in the news. I hope you're recovering well.
DANG! That sucks......Glad you are okay, but I hate that the trip was ruined.
Makes me think back to my cruise this summer.....*minus the terrible outbreak!
It cost me a letter grade in NTI, but my health wasn't in jeopardy
