Proud?
Due to the construction situation at my school, I cannot say that I am truely proud of anything that I have done this year. I will say that I am pleased with how I have used the construction going on around me to my advantage. This week my class and I dis-assembled the playground behind the school and packed it up to be sent to an elementary school in the area, so the children can enjoy it. This playground was standing in the area where they are planning on building an addition our school. I was pleased that almost everyone helped out, and we had no discipline issues. My halo must still be shining.
I can definitely empathize with the constraints of your facility being compromised by outside situations. You deserve to be commended for using the situation as a positive though because this "opportunity" won't likely come around often.
