Perkins Funding

The students need it. I have so many students that use my class as an outlet. Not only an outlet from the school structure but from many of their personal problems. I think about how great it would have been for me to have a creative outlet like BVP class when I was in High school. I think that creative expression can help heal the soul, and if some kids lose this because of a money issue, they may resort to other things harmful to them and the society. We should continue to fight because it keeps developing minds (kids) occupied in a positive way.
