Week 4: Surprise

 "What was the event that most took me surprise this week - and event that shook me up, caught me off guard, gave me a jolt, or made me unexpectedly happy?"

The event that mostly took me by surprise is when a student stopped in to have a conversation with me. I was a bit surprised, seeing that I was new teacher and students do not confide in teachers that they do not know. This particular student talked to me about the hardship that he was going through. I was just so shocked that a student which only knew me for like 3 weeks would open up to me and tell me what was going. From that day on I knew that I had found a place that I would love. I considered myself the older brother to all my students.
