This week we have what we call "open mic." You can write a post about anything related to your teaching that you would like responses from your classmates.
I have the most talkative 2 classes that I have ever had. They complete their assignments but I don't understand how because they are talkative and loud. We have group work expectations but they do not seem to help? i have at most 4 girls in a class and they are annoyed and the volume distracts their style of learning. I have even had a student say, " Oh Mrs. Carter, I do my work, I'm just behaviorally challenged." I call parents and coaches but nothing seem to work. Any suggestions?
