Teaching
is the essence of Learning and learning is the essence of Education. For our young
people to take their places as productive citizens and public-service leaders
of tomorrow, they must be inspired to learn today. Today’s technology has
advanced education to levels only dreamed of in past times. Educators today are
equipped with a vast array of tools, techniques and technologies to meet the
challenge of preparing students for the road ahead; it is up to the student to
receive from the teacher, apply and prosper.
“The Teacher Opens the
Door, It Is Up To The Student To Walk Through”
That was an interesting quote that you ended with about the teacher opening the door for the students to walk through. While I find that to be true, I also think the teacher has to sometimes be in the business of enticing student to walk through the door. It is frustrating to work with students who just don't want to be there, or seem unmotivated. As a teacher I wonder how I can make it more enticing for them.
