My Post this week is a "Shout Out" to Ms. Chillis. The one thing I feel the proudest about is my lesson plan. Because of an appointment, I had to leave school early one day this week. As a result one of my team members covered my class. Well the next day she came by my room to say she "loves" my lesson plan and asked could she please have a copy of it to use as a guide for her own lesson plan. In our conversation she stated how impressed she was with the content of the lesson, the format and distribution of time. Additionally, she shared her opinion of my plans with my CTAE Supervisor. Giving credit where credit is due, I explained that the lesson plan was not of my own originality, but something I learned from Ms. Chillis and NTI. The entire scenario reminded me of Ms. Chillis' comments about our lesson plans being a reflection of us as teachers. I'm glad for my NTI experience.
