OH NO!!!

Well it looks like I will be very busy next year.Friday the A.P. came to me and asked me how it feels to be the most requested class at the Technical school for next year.Students have picked automotive their first choice for programs there next year by an almost 2 to 1 margin.I don't know if this will be a blessing or a curse, but I will continue to teach them all I can and at the level I have been teaching at.

  2. THis is both a blessing and a curse. I have experienced the same problem, or should I say blessing. I also have the most requested course at the school with a waiting list. The good thing is that I am loved. The bad thing is that I always have a full class and more. If you think that bad, what about on top of that being the most requested teacher to go when I hate all the other teachers and wlk out of class.

Because, I have this unknown way of getting thrugh to even the worst of the worst, even the administrators and special ed teachers are sending their problem children to me for a "Cooling Off" or "Time Out" moment. It is unreal, because by the time they get to my rooming after raising hell with a teacher or administrator they are already calm, because they can't enter my room with the foolishness and they not it.

So congratulations for all the love!

  3. I *think* I would love to have this problem. I'm in a small school and I'm the newest program. The kids love me and I have a lot of students come see me during lunch that aren't "mine". However, for the past 3 years I have been told my job is in jeopardy if I don't get my numbers up. This has been my best year so far with 65 total students. I have to more than double that for next year in order to keep my job. I wish I had a waiting list!!
