My best advice

I know its hard but you have to find a time to leave the job at school. When I first started I would spend from the time I got home till my kids went to bed getting lessons ready for the next day. I know the kids in the classroom are extremely important but so are the ones (kids and spouse) in the living room.

And remember summer break is never more than 2 semesters away.

  1. Summer break is never more than two semesters away. I like that one. It puts things into perspective.

  3. Perry,
I very seldom give my students homework. reason why I don't want to take away from my family time.I try and do everything during my planning. When I am policing I don't take my work home with me.

  4. Excellent points Perry! I do spend a lot of time at home working on school things. I also tend to stay at school late many nights so when I go home it's "all about the kids and hubby". I, like Walter, tend to not give homework.
