Why should CTAE Teacher fight for Perkins Money?
CTAE teachers should fight for the Perkins program because it's a window opportunity for all students. I also think the academic teacher should fight for the Perkins program because students need both skill and education to excel. The reason why it's so important is because it gives teachers the resource and opportunity to educate and train our students for a skill. CTE education and training prepare students for the workforce. It's best for the students to excel on an academic level and skill based learning. This program can dictate which career field a student should chose. The Perkins program also create jobs and provide material to assist educators. Let's keep fighting for the program. I appreciate the lessons that was taught on the Perkins program. I have a better understanding and I plan to educate my colleges and students about the importance for CTE.
I totally agree. I think that bringing awareness about this topic is what keeps it fresh in the minds of educators, when lobbying and making decisions about what is important for the development of our students. Fight,Fight, Fight!
