Progressing as a Teacher
This past week I utilized using the scorecard for a project and it went very well. The students were clear about the expectations of the project and enjoyed the opportunity to rate their work. When I use what I have learned in class and it goes well I feel like I am progressing in my development as a teacher however if things don’t go well or as expected it can be discouraging. One of the things I have learned is that you can teach the same lesson to two different classes and the results can be very different.
I can agree with you on the fact that every class responds different. I never used the score card before, but I experienced the same results from my classes. When I try to teach the same lesson to three different classes, I get three different responses. Each class has its own way it needs to be taught.
