Master Teacher

I feel I have grown over the last few years as a teacher with the concepts and information I have receive from NTI and other seasoned veteran teachers. My third period class over the school year has been my worse period the kids are out of control at times. They have no fear of punishment even from former police officer like myself. Recently we have begun Mock Trials in my classroom which have allowed the students to become very involved in their work in the courtroom alot of Role playing concerning the position of the courtroom. Amazing things are occuring in my third period class it's like the light has come on. The learning process just went to another level. I feel you have some students who are hands on students and when they see their work they feel more attached to the project. The class actual has accomplished more than the other periods in the Mock Trials and Practice Cases.

I hope the good work continues and transfers into the rest of the semester once we finish mock trials this semester. I ask myself friday afternoon how this could possibly be concerning my class it amazes me, but it also shows me that anybody can be reached in their own time once you plant the seed for success. I'm starting to see all the different levels of group learning we discussed last semester in class and how it can applied to set a goal for master teaching and success.
