This year has definitely been a challenge trying to get students to understand the concept of Broadcast / Video Production. One thing that has definitely made a difference in the classroom has been the LCD monitor which has allowed me to use several different video tutorials as set induction and to use for many of my classroom assignments. Incorporating some of today’s technology has really been a great asset.
I would also like to highlight the techniques and strategies that I learned this summer at NTI. I can remember when it was so hard to come to work not knowing how I was going to handle some of my most challenging classes. Thanks to NTI I now have a clear understanding of what I need to do when certain situations arises and how to mange my class more efficient
I agree... I feel the class helped me tremendously simply because it puts planning in perspective. I feel when you plan good you teach your courses on a more efficent level. Some of the Hands on activity we learn i put the activities to work the next day in class. always implementing the technolgy and learning skill activities.
