I used the syllabus and the lesson plans the first week. I also found the safety information very helpful.
I posted the classroom procedures (behavior) policy. I felt so well prepared the first week of school from all the things I learned from the summer NTI program.
Some parts worked very well. I had to redo the lesson plans to a weekly level instead of daily for various reasons.
Yes, it did get me off to a stronger start than last year. It was less things that I had to complete being in a new environment.
Thank you for your post. I am glad you felt well prepared. It makes sense to me that with all the projects your program does a weekly lesson plan may work better for you. We will talk about that more when we talk about collaborate projects and project based learning. Dr. J.
