It really, really worked!

Hey guys,
I really took those first two weeks of school to make sure that the students knew and understood the classroom procedures and expectations. It really works, the students don't complain much. They really love to help. I also implemented having the classroom manager! I am amazed at how many volunteers I get when I ask, "who wants to be classroom manager next week?" Amazing!

  1. The Classroom Manager (CRM) has been a success in my class room too. Like you, I've surprisingly had a lot of volunteers. I was expecting to have to "volun'tell" someone each and every single week. That position is very helpful with a classroom full of students and a strict time schedule.

  2. I am pleased to see you using the classroom manager strategy. It defintely helps - even at the college level! Dr. J

  3. I agree also with the classroom manager. I have two which helps out if someone is absent. I have a manager and a co-manager. My goal is that if I have to be absent from that the class it can still be a learning environment. We will see :)
