Well Well the most important thing I've learned about my admin is that they don't communicate with one another ......That sets a bad tone for the teachers . The administration the schools strength and viable soul , in all actually it is the foundation that we all must build on,to keep the learning cycle complete . We cannot allow for any level of communication break downs . We must communicate effectively as a team .Remember TEAM .... Together Each Acheives More !!
Selina
Selina, I am in agreement. In life as well as through NTI, I have learned that teamwork is so important. We will be unsuccessful at reaching our ultimate goal of educating our students if we cannot work together and cannot get along. Our students watch us and know more than what we give them credit for. We have to always make sure that we are doing our best to set the best possible examples to and for them. In other words we just have to live right before them. It is really a bad feeling when your superiors cannot get along. But in every area of our lives we have stepping stones or periods where we can learn something. If your look closely, maybe there is some life lesson in this for you as well. As I age, I am learning to make the best of all situations and am learning to choose my battles. Stay encouraged and keep looking up. I pray that things get better for you.
ReplyDeleteHi, Selina - maybe you can serve as an example to them . . . and Penelope had some great words for your situation as well! Remember also that situations can and will change - hang in there!
ReplyDeleteSelina, I think we work at the same school! It is very frustrating when there is no communication. Then, the few times in which there is actual communication it is not complete. Sometimes I think the admin needs to come and sit in on my communication lecture. :-) I love what you say about teams...it is so true. I guess we can just try to live by example like Dr. M says. In the end, I just do the best I can and not get too worked up. No job is worth me having a heart attack over!
