Open Mic
During my 3 years of teaching I have often wondered if I made the right decision leaving Corporate America and entering the education field. In such a short time I have experienced some dramatic highs and some somber lows. For the most part I have found myself questioning whether I have what it takes to become a successful teacher. I have finally come to the conclusion that I am doing what I was called to do. I am very fortunate in so many ways and I can thank the professors at NTI in helping me to realize my full potential.

ReplyDeleteI have actually wondered the same thing many times! Although I feel like I was born to teach, I have questioned whether I should be teaching high school kids (sometimes they seem so unappreciative) and whether I should return to corporate (because of the salary). I, too, have come to the conclusion that I am where I'm supposed to be. I didn't think I could do it, but it becomes easier day by day, week by week, semester by semester..... I look forward to experiencing even more and thank NTI for helping me realize my potential over this past year.
