Clayton County Board of Education!!!!!!...shame on them all!!!

Hey guys and gals!
I have been away for a spell...Just returning in town, and to hear the things about your School system and SACS, and the Board, accreditation, etc....makes me wish I stayed!!!!
It's embarrassing to see and hear things about the system when the problem exist with only a few knuckle heads...AKA...School Board Members. As teacher in the system it makes me angry to hear things that question the integrity and qualifications of GREAT teachers....My NTI FAMILY, please believe me when I say we have GREAT, SMART, AMBITIOUS CHILDREN in Clayton County and the teachers are some of the best in the state.....it is a crying shame that a few board members make this statement look FALSE!
As outline in the summary report by SACS....the summary basically said the the curriculum, administration, teacher and day to day activities are GREAT, however the "BOARD" is not living up to the duties for which they were appointed....ENOUGH SAID!
Pitiful...kids may have to suffer because of a few riffs between ADULTS!......

  1. We know that the fault lies with the school system, not with your school system's teachers and students. I heard on the news today that Governor Purdue is going to intervene to some extent. Let's hope this all gets resolved soon. We are with you, and you have our support!

  2. Yes, we are with you 100%! Yes, it is a crying shame that the Board can't get along and be professional. I sure hope Governor Perdue can intervene and do it quickly. It would be a terrible, terrible thing for Clayton County to lose SACS accreditation.

Hang in there! We are pulling for Clayton County!

Keep your head up, because the students need teachers like you that truly have a passion for what you do. Interesting enough, I also saw on the news yesterday, that some kids in Clayton COunty are fighting back aginst the board and staging a rally and also have launched a website protesting and the governor told those students that he hears them and will assure them that if they are college bound they will be.

Purdue said he would give them all hope scholarships if he has to. That is great news!!!
