I thought sure we would have a Snow Day Thursday, but no cigar. I checked the news 3 times before I finally gave up, got a shower and got dressed, and went on to school. I think the teachers were more disappointed than the kids. Ha! Ha!
But today is Saturday and it is snowing in McDonough! Supposed to get really cold here tonight and more snow. We already have Monday off for MLK, Jr., day. But I guess all the snow will be melted and gone by Tuesday. But it still doesn't hurt to wish for a blizzard, now does it?

Our school system was closed on thursday.And it snowed today,but now at 7:00 it seems most of it has melted.But I went outside and played today anyway,nothing like a 46 year old kid.My wife is the grown-up.
ReplyDeleteyea i had a good snowball fight wednesday night also steve...my kids school wasnt closed but mine was...so i kicked them out the door and went back to bed...about 1:30 i went to their school and checked them out early..the littlest one said, "Daddy were you bored? Is that why you come got us early?" guess he has figured me out
ReplyDeleteI love snow in Georgia! Unlike Wisconsin, it goes away quickly. I took my two pups out in it and we had fun. Dr. J.
ReplyDeleteWe just don't get enough snow in Georgia in my opinion. I grew up in IL where we had snow pile up over the neighbor's fence. We were all the time getting into trouble because we'd be in their yard and not realize it. I hope we will see more soon!
