I had students in VICA every year I taught and the leadership activities and competitions always motivated me as well as my students. The National Skills Competition is quite impressive and is an experience students will never forget, so work hard to get them there. Other student organizations such as HOSA, FFA, DECA, etc., also involve and challenge students above and beyond the classroom.
