You being at the funeral be a source of support for the family of the student you lost as well as the friends of that student.Steven Vinsanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12270393207865280413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3725285395319049030.post-44800874152412342462008-04-04T14:26:00.000-04:002008-04-04T14:26:00.000-04:00It's a terrible thing. I have not experienced it but I know I love my kids and I would have a hard time dealing with it. I would not hesitate to go to the funeral. I went to a funeral last year of one of my daughter's friends. There were teachers there from their school and tha place was full of students. I think you would be a great support to the family and the other students.TracyFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00344952335924375078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3725285395319049030.post-54521227975664049052008-04-03T19:34:00.000-04:002008-04-03T19:34:00.000-04:00Sorry to hear of the lost of one of your students....Sorry to hear of the lost of one of your students. About two years ago I lost a student and last year I lost a former student. Not only should you try to attend the funeral but the school should also send flowers. This will help to build a good relationship between you and the family and also between the family abd the school because of you showing concern for a member of their family.Trevorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16889449867206609904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3725285395319049030.post-5502614740334238382008-04-03T19:08:00.000-04:002008-04-03T19:08:00.000-04:00Julie,I am so sorry that you lost one of your stud...Julie,<BR/>I am so sorry that you lost one of your students. I think it would be appropriate to go to the funeral. Some of our teachers recently went to a funeral of a student who was killed in a car crash from a school they taught at last year. It is a way to show concern and respect.Estherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04063419028261366794noreply@blogger.com
