It's always a shock when stude...Hey Emmanuel,<br /> It's always a shock when students participate when there is candy involved!!! haha. I used the same strategy a few weeks ago for my "Competition Wednesday," and I can't tell you how much the students participated when they saw my bag of candy. <br />Although it is a great technique, I don't use it all of the time because I don't want my students to participate just for the candy. One thing I did discover is although you may not have candy all of the time, students will volunteer or someone who doesn't talk that often may raise their hand to answer a question because they don't know if you have candy to give them or not.
