That is so true. I believe that you can achieve effective planning when you have a rested mind. When you are exhausted beyond means it is hard to compel yourself to be diligent and therefore your ability to plan effectively goes down (way down). The question then is how do we get enough sleep and still get all the things done that we need to :-). It sure is a balancing act. I do believe that I am a little less exhausted this year than I was last year, my very first year or teaching.
