I...You know, I think that this is a fantastic idea. I know, as a parent myself, I never get sick of hearing someone else sing the praises of my children!! I have not done enough of this with my students and it is something that I would like to do more often. The few times that I have called a parent with good new about their child, I literally felt like I could hear the smile on their face and the happiness in their heart. I call home with good ...I could not agree more Sly. I call home with good news often and the parents respond well to it. I have had several kids go into the hospital for one reason or another. I visited each in the hospital. The parents were shocked and grateful. I was shocked that the other teachers did not bother. One kid was in for a month. I made three trips and I was the only one.
