I am glad the week-end is near. We had a "planning day" on this past Tuesday ( which really wasn't ). We are having to manually write in roll books instead of using the computer version. This has caused a lot of unhappy campers ( teachers ) but sometimes you have to roll with the flow. Our school was divided into small learning communities at the beginning of the school year
but rumor has it we will become small schools in January. We will know officially on next Tuesday. As you can imagine, a lot of the staff are anxious to know because it will mean reapplying for your job within one of the schools. Otherwise , it's business as usual with the students. My 2nd observation will take place on 11/14/07, with Jessie. I am looking forward to getting it over.
I'm looking forward to the site observation. I like your school and the students at your school. I used to see another teacher there. Also, I graduated from Grady High School, so when I go to any of the APS schools, I feel like I'm coming home. See you on Wednesday!
