First blog
This was our first short week we had four days with kids and our first professional learning day. We had a speacker from the DOE his name was Wendell Christen. The discussion was on the Georgia keys to quality-preparing for school improvement. Some of the topics that were discussed applied to the CTAE but most of the topics did not, so I really feel that the day was a long and boring day. Most of the discussions that were discussed applied to the discussions that we already had at NTI, so I really feel that I have an edge on most of the other teachers. I don't know about all of you but, I would rather be teaching in the classroom with my students. Riley
I totally agree with you Riley. I would much rather be in the classroom with the kids than in a meeting with my peers.

Yes dr. just a few topics that were discussed was the ability to use differentiated learnind skills to reach all the students in the class room, being able to post your objectives were the students will know exactly what they are doing and what they are supposed accomplish or learn from your assignments also you are supposed to have the essential question on the board every day and the essential question must be different every day, you must be able to document every situation in which you will have contact with a student or parent in any situation good or bad and these are just a few topics that were discussed but I don't have enough time to tell you about all of it you would have just had to been there because he talked for about six hours in one tone so some of the things he talked about are just a long lost memory.
