I plan to paticipate in the class blog this semester. Even though blogging has been around for the last fifteen years I have never felt compelled to explore this new type of technology.
Learning to blog should be both fun and educational.
The NTI Blog should really enhance the lines of communication in our class. It will give students a better means of communicating with our instructors and peers. Blogging will definitely give all students greater flexibility in completing the NTI coursework. I look forward to learning a new skill. Lets get ready to blog!

Well said, Henry. You're words are inspiring and insightful. I hope everyone in the course who experiments with blogging will gain from the experience.

I'm with you, Henry. I'm really looking forward to trying out this blogging. I think it could be quite useful if we all use it to its fullest potential. I'm also curious if I would be able to use it my classroom or even for the entire school. We'll see how things go.
ReplyDeleteThose of you who are interested in creating a class blog or getting your whole school involved in blogging, as Natalie mentions in her comment, should first clear everything with your school administration. You'll also need to make sure that the internet service at your school will enable your kids to blog. Your school media specialist or instructional technologist should be able to help with this.
ReplyDeleteI was just the same way about trying something new. I feel this is a way that we as teacher's can communicate and ask for advice and help from other teacher's. This is also a great way to experience what the students are doing and relate to them.
